We are a local (New Zealand) based online store & happy to ship anywhere locally or internationally. 

International Customers: Yes we can ship globally.  Price of shipping is POA currently (price on application). If you are purchasing from outside New Zealand, please email us for accurate shipping cost. This way we ensure you get the best up to date shipping price.

 You will need to check your own country’s import taxes/duty which may be additional depending on what country you live in.

We will happily refund your purchase cost if the product is returned in original condition & upon proof of purchase. Please read our Refund & Returns Policy for further info & other options including shipping returns. Please note Sale items can not be refunded.

If purchasing in NZ, shipping fees will be included at checkout, depending on your location to ship to.

If you live locally (Christchurch, NZ) we can arrange a collection point for you to pick up from. If this is an option you prefer, please email us & we will arrange for you. 

For International customers, please email us for an up to date shipping cost.

Yes, we can. We welcome you making contact, email us with your question(s) and we will get back to you with suggestions about the best gear to suit your needs. If you are wanting fishing tips, we have years of experience here & are happy to share our knowledge.

Your freight or shipping charges will be calculated depending on the product, where you live globally, weight & size.

All shipping will be shown at checkout before you decide to click yes to the purchase. For International customers please email us to get an accurate up to date shipping price.

Remember if you live locally (Christchurch, New Zealand) we can arrange a collection point, in which case shipping is free. To do this you will need to email us to arrange. 

Hi, as soon as we receive your order & payment has shown, we will package up your product(s) & courier off to you.

We are super quick in packing & shipping off, all our supplies are here in New Zealand.

How long it takes to get to you depends on where you live, and any circumstances outside our control like Courier delays.

We will keep you updated with tracking your purchase. 

We take orders between 7am & 9pm Monday to Sunday & will package up & ship off generally within 24 hours of receiving your order & confirmation of payment. 

For Support & Fishing Advice we will get back to you asap, we do need to keep our hours of fishing up & get a bit of sleep between. 

If for the rare occasion we are away on a fishing trip in Fiji we will email you & let you know if there are any delays or if one of our great TackleGear.fish family can help you out.

Our products are made in various places throughout the world.

We source quality products that we have trialed ourselves & can recommend.

Some of the countries products are made in are: Italy, Taiwan, Japan, China, USA, Korea, Germany, Malaysia & Singapore.

Generally each product has a warranty of 1 year, this means we will replace or repair at our discretion any item that is faulty due to defective materials or workmanship. This does not cover general wear & tear or misuse of the product beyond its capabilities.

We began selling online to support fishing enthusiasts to get the right gear at a good price. Richard Fletcher, the founder has spent over 50 years fishing in New Zealand & overseas.
